All about Lisa Williams and Polevocative
Polevocative is an innovative dance company specialising in bespoke pole classes, workshops and parties in Norbury, South London. At Polevocative we are passionate about providing all individuals with both an evocative & active experience in the art of pole dancing. We aim to introduce you to the benefits of pole dancing, ensuring you not only get an excellent dynamic workout but you also have lots of fun!
Polevocative was set up in 2010 by Lisa Williams. Lisa has been a professional instructor and pole performer for over 6 years. After 3 solid years of teaching experience at two highly reputable UK pole schools and as an ex student herself, she had her own vision of the elements successful to a good quality pole class. After extensive thought and planning, the Polevocative business was launched.
Polevocative take pride in teaching small personalised pole classes, enabling each student to get the most out of the lessons. We believe retaining our students and tailoring our classes to meet personal expectations makes us a cut above the rest. We try and test our course structures, always developing the content to remain at the top of our profession, and are proud of our reputation for providing a friendly, warm and encouraging atmosphere to pole dance in.
Regardless of your dance background, shape, age or size we will continue to ensure your fitness is taken to new heights!

Private Pole Parties |
|
Private Pole Parties are also available
We run private pole dancing parties - whatever your occasion be it hen party, birthday party or just a girly afternoon! Parties take place on Saturday afternoons from 4pm onwards. We accept up to 15 guests - this way there are not too many of you on one pole and everybody gets a go at strutting their stuff. By all means more guests can come along if they are watching and not participating.
Here are the costs for a 1 and 1/2 hour pole party based on 5 guests or more taking part.
5-7 guests - £35 a head
8-11 guests - £25 a head
12-15 guests - £18 a head
During the party you will be shown tricks, transitions, spins and a routine, the hen can even perform a solo routine if they like!
(Please note that no alcoholic drinks are allowed during the session as we have a no drinking and poling policy - health and safety rules! However you are welcome to have a couple of drinks before you arrive at the venue)

General Information |

ALL CLASSES are 1 hour lessons a week consisting of a warm up/cool down, pole moves, spins AND floor work! You will also have the chance to put your moves into mini routines each week. We have a maximum of 2 students to a pole giving you more teacher-student time to perfect your moves.
What to wear:
Sports/gym clothing is great; something which enables you to move without restriction accompanied with bare feet or sports/dance trainers only, no heels please. Also please do not wear any jewelry as it affects the grip on the pole, can hurt you and damage the poles, and last but not least please do not moisturise before class as this will impair yours and others ability. There is no nudity, lap dancing or stripping at our classes.
Once you have completed the beginner course, you can move onto intermediates where we cover lots of pole tricks, climbing and mastering upside down, routines and more complex spins - it will get you FIT! We hope to see many of you at our pole classes, happy spinning.
