For over 40 years the building in Semley Road has been well known worldwide for training top class dancers, All World Champions both past and present have had the good fortune to study the art of dancing in this most unique place. Anyone connected with Ballroom or Latin American dancing around the world knows of 'The Semley'. It is such a special place!
Naturally it is and has been the stable where most of the Professional Dancers that take part in 'Strictly Come Dancing' have trained, practiced and give instruction. How exciting is it knowing that you could possible bump into one of the professionals from Strictly Come Dancing whilst visiting Club Semley for your dance lesson.

Introducing a great new Studio in South West London, ClubSemleyDanceAcademy offers you the chance to learn to dance in a relaxed, friendly and comfortable environment.
Club Semley Dance Academy is on the ground floor of the 'The Semley' and is run by principal Julie Tomkins, together with Strictly Come Dancing Stars, Matthew Cutler & Nicole Cutler who themselves have been part of The Semley for many years and now hope to open up this famous Studio to everybody both young and old, to the benefits of dancing.
As Julie quotes 'It's a great way to keep fit, meet new friends and discover the joys of dancing'.
Julie has been teaching for 30 years and has vast experience in training both beginners and competitors in the UK and overseas. She is also an Examiner & therefore ensuring that everyone is in safe a capable hands.
With a great team of Teachers, its not just Ballroom and Latin American dancing on offer
The studio also offers many other forms of dance including Tap, Pilates, Jazz, Salsa, Line Dancing. Hopefully Bollywood is going to be added to that list shortly and we are always looking to incorporate other forms of dancing to our schedule of classes.
What's so good about dancing is you can start as young as 2 or 80! You're never too young or old to learn and there's no such thing as 2 left feet.
